ICF Canada will attend the ICF Summit in London from June 4-6. Join us in our delegation and be part of a unique international event staged at the Siemens Crystal in the Royal Victoria Docklands. Stay at the luxurious Doubletree Hotel Excel within walking distance or one stop along the London Docklands Railway (LDR) of the ICF Summit venue.
Participate with other ICF Canada members in networking with Intelligent Communities from around the world. Be introduced to mayors and senior thought leaders from SMART21 towns, cities and regions, as well as meet with British government, institutions and private sector leaders during the three-day event. Learn from a deep dive into each of the Top7 Intelligent Communities selected for 2018 and be part of the excitement of the announcement of the Intelligent Community of the Year. Throughout you will network with other leaders in the field of Smart21 cities and Intelligent Communities.
Highlights of the event include a matchmaking event where you will meet individually with a minimum of 6 potential business and trade opportunities and through an ICF Canada delegation contribution, be part of the sponsorship that will be hosting the ICF Awards Dinner in Greenwich.
Following the ICF Summit at the Crystal and in Greenwich, consider extending your stay to join the ICF Canada Delegation for the second phase of the visit.
Relocate from the London Docklands to the heart of London’s business, government and theatre district at the Hilton Greenpark Hotel.
From here a two-day curated business mission will take place organized by a professional lead generation company. Delegates will meet with businesses interested in opportunities for two-way trade and FDI. In addition to meetings, potential business site visits are planned, including a potential visit to the Canadian High Commission in London.
Lunch and Dinners with London area influencers are included as are logistics to and from these meetings. The weekend is free. Enjoy the nearby museums, historic parks and buildings and the nearby theatre and restaurants within walking distance of your hotel. Bond with other members of the delegation over the weekend, including joining optional walking tours on Saturday and Sunday, June 9th and 10th organized as part of Module 2.
Finally, consider joining the third phase of the program to attend the World Forum on FDI in Liverpool. This phase is open to all ICF members. Travel to Liverpool from London on Monday morning, June 11, attend the Liverpool International Festival and the World Forum’s Welcome Reception. The three-day program includes many opportunities to learn, network and follow-up on potential business opportunities. Meet international thought leaders in the field of Foreign Direct Investment and representatives from companies looking to invest globally. Each program phase is a separate module. Individual prices are quoted below per module and based on ICF Membership. Non-Members – add 25% to all prices. An all inclusive option for all three modules, travel, meals, registrations and sponsorship is also offered. All-inclusive Option
On request, ICF Canada is able to offer an all-inclusive option for all three modules to ICF Canada Members. The price for the all-inclusive includes luxury hotel accommodation from June 3-14 in London such as in the Doubletree Hotel Excel at the Royal Victoria Docks and the Hilton Greenpark Hotel in Central London near Piccadilly. A similar hotel in Liverpool, such as the Hilton Liverpool City Centre will be secured near the Exhibition centre. It will also include economy airfare from Toronto-London and all local travel and logistics in London and between London and Liverpool. All group-related meals, full access to the ICF Summit and World Forum for FDI and curated business meetings and site visits throughout the program. ICF Canada will have an assistant available for all-inclusive members.
