Join the ICF Canada Delegation to ICF’s Summit (London, UK) and to the World Forum for FDI (Liverpool)
ICF Canada will once again participate actively at the 2018 ICF Global Summit. The event is planned for London, UK, from June 4-6 at the Crystal, a major Siemens-built attraction in London near Greenwich Village in the Docklands. Since eleven Smart21 Canadian Communities were selected for 2018, there is a very good chance that one or more of these Canadian Smart21 communities may become TOP7 contenders and maybe one of them might have a tremendous chance of winning this year’s Intelligent Community of the Year. The current Intelligent Community of the Year is Melbourne, Australia. In addition to the ICF Summit, Site Selection Magazine/Conway, who are partnering with ICF this year, will be holding their own Global Forum on FDI in Liverpool the following week, from June 11-13. Join our delegation from Canada attending one or both of these fabulous events.
ICF Canada communities have a tremendous opportunity to actively leverage their Canadian Intelligent Community brand and other competitive advantages at these events. ICF Canada is exploring ways to identify and create opportunities for them to leverage these highly competitive advantages. Accordingly, taking a delegation from Canada to London and Liverpool from June 4-13 for the ICF Global Summit and World FDI Forum is a great opportunity to leverage the ICF Canada brand and their community competitive advantages.
ICF Canada will organize a delegation, leveraging opportunities for meetings at both events as well as holding other potential meetings off site and in-between the two events. In addition to the events and meetings, ICF Canada will endeavour to arrange a meeting of the delegation with the Canadian High Commission and Ambassador, as well as other opportunities.
Participating members of ICF Canada’s delegation will receive additional profile in social media, ICF Canada’s newsletter and website as well as through potential promotion by Site Selection Magazine over the course of Q1 and Q2 as well as post-mission exposure and perhaps, subject to availability and approval, even potential speaking opportunities at one or both of the events. A fee will be charged to cover the cost of entrances to both events, for the pre-qualified FDI meetings that will be supported through a professional lead generator and for delegation related coordination expenses in the UK. For instance, the fee will cover all UK transportation by executive bus, accommodation coordination in the UK, meals and reports and meeting arrangements and other potential coordination expenses.
