New Additions to ICF Canada’s Speakers Bureau

ICF Canada is offering communities and organizations across Canada and abroad to access qualified Canadian and International speakers who can discuss smart city and Intelligent community issues, share best practices and expertise with case studies of successful communities and how they met challenges head on with ingenuity and innovation, leadership and collaboration; how broadband and smart infrastructure technologies helped transform their communities; and success stories of communities with which your community can become inspired.

ICF Canada offers local, national and international speakers. Many in your area may speak for free or a modest honorarium. Others may require travel expenses covered and some may also require a speakers fee to cover their time away from their normal business. This month learn more about four exciting new additions to ICF Canada’s Speaker Bureau:

Storm Cunningham – Publisher and Global Speaker: Storm is an international speaker from the USA. For two decades, Storm has helped public and private clients around the globe understand how to lead or support resilient prosperity in terms of the community / regional revitalization process; and how to strategically position their organization within that process. Storm is the publisher of REVITALIZATION: The Journal of Urban, Rural & Environmental Resilience, in which he covers the latest trends, tools, and techniques in urban/rural regeneration, natural resource restoration, and economic resilience worldwide.

Mark Wilson – Waterfront Toronto Past Chair – Digital Strategy Advisory Panel: Mark was the Chair of Waterfront Toronto for 10 years as it developed award winning projects across Toronto’s Waterfront and it led Toronto’s team to the Intelligent Community of the Year award in 2014. He continues to serve as a member of Waterfront Toronto’s Digital Strategy Advisory Panel which is supporting Waterfront Toronto in its work with Sidewalk Labs on the groundbreaking Quayside project.

Todd Latham – President & COO Actual Media Inc.: Todd is a business media leader, idea generator, owner, cleantech investor and a front-line communicator with an extensive network in the global business of environment, water and infrastructure.  While not an ‘expert’ in the science, technology or policy within these sectors, his 30 years experience working directly in the industry has allowed him to absorb broad practical knowledge of those subjects and formulate intelligent points of view.

Tom Keenan – Professor and Best Selling Author: Tom is an award-winning University of Calgary professor, public speaker and technology journalist.  He served on the Government of Canada’s Blue Ribbon Panel on Smart Communities, and  has testified before Parliamentary committees and as an expert witness.
