Speakers announced for ICF’s SMART21 Conference in Rochester, NY on October 22

Among the many North American and global speakers are Hamilton’s Economic Development Director, Glen Norton; VP of BlueWater Power in Sarnia, Chris Gould; and Windsor-Essex’s Dan Circelli. They will be joined by Hudson, Ohio’s Economic Development Director, Jim Stifler and Rochester’s Nextcorp executive, James Senall to tackle this big topic –  “The Digital Overlay: How Cities are Driving Regional Economic Change Beyond City Limits”. ICF Chairman and Co-Founder, John G. Jung will be the moderator of this session.

Other notable topics include what it takes to go from Smart City to Intelligent Community; a panel on Economic Development & Tech Transfer: From Idea to Business, from a US perspective including Joe Fargnoli from the New York Space Alliance. You will also hear from the Mayor of Rochester, Lovely Warren, global CIOs, Planners and Economic Development officials as well as from Li Wen (Ema) Hsieh, of the ICF Institute in Taiwan. Delegations from Ohio, Canada and Taiwan are expected to join the conference and SMART21 announcement celebrations. That evening, ICF Co-Founder Louis Zacharilla and John G.
